Agriculture Sales Manager Do you have strong crop production/plant growth and development knowledge specific to soybeans, peas, lentils, canola, corn, wheat, barley? Would you enjoy being the 'go-to' expert; assisting distributors, dealers and growers in raising higher yields? Our Client, XiteBio, is looking for an Agriculture Sales Manager to join their team. They are currently seeking a full-time energetic agriculture sales manager to join their sales & marketing team to focus and increase their crop inputs sales in their US & Canadian marketing area. The position is at the head office of XiteBio in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The sales person will be a result-oriented skilled communicator and responsible for advancing sales & marketing efforts to reach distributors, dealers & farm customers. You will work independently but will work closely with the XiteBio's sales team as well as with the head office. You will have the flexibility to work from a home office, if required. Responsibilities: . Business to Business sales will be required; Building productive, long-term relationships with distributors, dealers & farmer customers . Maintain & motivate sales team, grow, promote, and support the sales of their exclusive line of products . Success will be measured in your ability to develop a customer focused business plan to achieve the assigned targets . Planning sales contacts that present solutions and value to customers . Meeting financial targets through strong individual customer tactical plans . Communicating opportunities/issues on Crop Protection and Seed based on field conditions/situations through consultation, field inspections, field plots/experiments, etc. . Travelling and effective time management is required Qualifications . Passion to be in the challenging agriculture industry . Strong crop production/plant growth and development knowledge . Excellent relationship & team building skills . Valid driver's license . Membership in Manitoba Institute of Agrologists or eligibility to become a member would be an added advantage . Knowledge of Crop Inputs; including, inoculants, biofertilizers, crop protection products, seeds, biotechnology Education & Experience . Previous experience in crop inputs sales is required . Post-secondary education in agriculture or business is preferred but experience in the areas of sales or adequate combination of experience & education will be considered .
