Manager of Human Resources Our client, Amenity Health Care, is seeking a team-oriented and experienced Manager of Human Resources to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager of Human Resources is responsible for the development and management of corporate programs for hiring, retaining and development of employees in compliance with company vision, culture and business objectives. Responsibilities: . Align HR management activities and development with company vision, culture and business objectives . Work directly with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that employee management initiatives successfully align with the achievement of business plans . Establish a high level of communication, collaboration and support for all Store Managers in the planning and execution of HR initiatives . Direct ownership of the hiring and development of senior managers and executives in collaboration with the COO and CEO . Develop and manage HR budgets within approved plans . Evaluate, develop, implement and maintain: o Employee hiring practices (local to international, recruiting consultants, etc.) o Employee compensation programs (pay structures, vacation, etc.) o Employee benefit programs (healthcare, pension, education support, expert counsel programs, etc.) o Employee performance evaluation programs (probationary, annual and corrective action) o Employee career development programs (education, training, career planning, etc.) o Employee communications programs (surveys, newsletters, etc.) o Company Cultural programs (events, awards, etc.) o Company Human Resources Information System (HRIS) o Government Regulatory Compliance and Relations . Participate in company Health and Safety Committees Education & Experience . +10 years' experience in HR management . Post-secondary education in HR, Business Administration or another related discipline . Experience in a large multi-site organization . Familiar with Regional, Provincial and National labour law and regulations in applicable jurisdictions . Familiar with Industry Health and Safety requirements . Familiar with Enterprise Resource Programs (ERP) or General Accounting (GA) programs and relevant interfacing with HR processes and systems . Experience in evaluating and successfully implementing an effective Human Resources Information System (HRIS) . Proficient in PC and MS systems Skills & Abilities . Excellent team leader with desire to support the growth of direct reports and work colleagues . Strong interpersonal and communication skills . Highly customer focused with the ability to effectively balance priorities . High level of business acumen .
