Executive Director Our client, Lions Housing Centres, is seeking an Executive Director to lead their organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director promotes and models the vision, mission, and values of Lions Housing Centres and is responsible for managing and overseeing all operations. With an over $18M operating budget and 260 + full-time staff members, this position involves the management of housing for 800 residents and adult day club programs in partnership with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and is instrumental in growing the organization while providing quality service. The Executive Director participates and presents at all Board meetings, providing input to the strategic direction, vision, mission, and goals of the organization ensuring activities are aligned with specific objectives, and that work is completed within the Board approved strategic plan and annual budget. This role focuses on strategically leading the organization while guiding, mentoring, and managing employees. From running Board and management meetings to financial management and strategic planning initiatives, the Executive Director will network across Canada while building trusting and long-lasting relationships with executive branches of government. Additional responsibilities include funding, community involvement, capital projects, and union negotiations, ultimately supporting Lions Housing Centres in creating a healthy and vibrant community. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS -8-10 years' experience in a similar role -Bachelor degree in Business/Finance or similar experience -Must possess strong leadership and management experience overseeing operations -Demonstrated passion for serving the evolving needs of seniors, families and the community, leadership and management, specifically designed facilities, personalized services, and quality programs -Knowledge in union, health, and safety, and employment standards and legislation -Union negotiations experience an asset -Must take initiative and be responsive -Able to motivate and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment -Passionate about mentorship and coaching -Entrepreneurial spirit, warm personality, respectful, people oriented, and creative -Strong communication & interpersonal skills -Honesty and integrity, accountability, honouring diversity, empathetic If you would like more information about this position or Lions Housing Centres , please visit http://bit.ly/LHC-ED or contact Paul Croteau, Managing Partner at (204) 934-8821.
