Fleet Manager Established in 1960 and based in Winnipeg and Thompson Manitoba, Perimeter Aviation LP has grown into a diversified airline company with more than 600 employees, operating a fleet of 30+ aircraft in a scheduled air service to Manitoba and North Western Ontario. In addition to our scheduled passenger and freight service, 24/7 North American charter service, Medical evacuation services and a full-service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services. The Fleet Manager 703 / 704 is responsible for supporting Perimeter Aviation's maintenance control system as it relates to the applicable fleet type. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES . Authority to remove aircraft from operational status . Support the maintenance control system for the applicable fleet type . Coordinate production of the monthly reliability report & weekly repeat snag report . Assist in the review of applicable AD's and SB's for possible implementation . Provide technical assistance related to recurring defects and reliability . Maintain configuration and modification planning and budgeting for the applicable fleet type . Coordination of the quarterly reliability meetings . Oversight and coordination of Major Repair and Modifications and associated paperwork distribution . Liaison for the OEM and operational entities . Coordination and review of engine health monitor trending . Continuous review of aircraft reliability trends and the initiation of changes to the maintenance program for improvement . Support for maintenance program change and development on type . Training syllabus coordination for elementary work and AMO training . Management of Power-plant, propeller, and landing gear repairs . Review of Rotable Parts requirements . Coordinate heavy maintenance visits (HMV) . Flight Permit signing authority . Tolerance approval authority . MEL extension approval authority . Initiating maintenance department Safety Bulletins and Technical Information Bulletins . Support for SDR submission . Participate in the Company's Safety Management System program EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE . Valid AME license . 5 years' experience on type .
