The Regional Multi Unit (RMU) Sales Manager is responsible for the management, development, growth and achievement of period I quarterly I annual sales and margin goals of the RMU and Healthcare (HC) businesses in the Manitoba, Southern Saskatchewan and Northwestern Ontario foodservice markets. In addition, they are responsible for the development of distribution channels; -- building strategic business relationships and providing vision for all RMU and HC sales strategies and their execution. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the RMU Sales Manager will work closely with the Street District Sales Managers (DSM) along with the sales support team who services these customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES . Devise and deploy all RMU and HC sales goals and objectives including the preparation of sales quotas, new business forecasts and budgets and development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP); . Targets and seeks to gain new regional business in our Manitoba/Southern Saskatchewan and NW Ontario market area (growing the business); . Builds relationships with Customers at the Franchisee and Head Office levels; . Leads, coaches and develops Account Coordinators, regional sales representative in terms of contract compliance, relationship building, and corporate profitability goals; . Works with Account Coordinators and Supply Chain analysts on a variety of customer issues such as new product implementation, promotional activity and general inventory management; . Involved in Strategic Planning for the Regional Multi-unit and Healthcare departments; including growth, competitive analysis, market trends and business environment. . Carries out ongoing and timely business reviews and menu solutions sessions for the customers that fall under RMU and Health Care while including the DSM in the planning; . Collaborates with leaders across the organization to successfully onboard and support customer needs; . Works with the Director of Sales and DSM on accounts in their markets to assist in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and sales growth projections; . EDUCATION, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES . Post secondary education in Business, Sales and/or Marketing is an asset; . Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, and/or Marketing, 5+ years of food service sales or sales management experience with a proven track record of success; . Experience with sales negotiating principles and procedures; . Excellent grasp of brand building and articulation of value propositions; . Exceptional presentation skills; . Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal; . Demonstrated commitment to the GFS Cornerstone values; . Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Google applications and spreadsheets with experience in CRM systems an asset; . Flexible work hours are required outside of standard business/office hours; .
