Our client, Food & Beverage Manitoba, is searching for a Training & Development Manager to join their team. Food & Beverage Manitoba is a not-for-profit, industry-led association dedicated to promoting Manitoba's vibrant food and beverage industry, and ensuring our members have the resources, strength and conditions they need to succeed. We do this by providing the expertise and resources our members need most: in developing new markets, training a skilled workforce, building human resource capacity, creating opportunities for networking and collaboration, and sharing critical information about domestic international trade industry regulations, and government programs. This position is responsible for planning, coordination, implementation, management, and evaluation of all aspects of the Training and Development programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position will be responsible for strategic planning and funding acquisition initiatives for the Agri-food industry that contribute to achieving industry goals in both primary agriculture and food and beverage manufacturing. Key Responsibilities . Plan, develop, and supervise program content to meet the human resource and training needs of the Agri-food industry (food and beverage manufacturing and primary agriculture sub-sectors) . Contact and supervise trainers to deliver approved educational and human resource programming for the Agri-food industry (food and beverage manufacturing and primary agriculture sub-sectors) . Act as a liaison between our Board, government representatives, and industry to facilitate training . Communicate with all stakeholders on programming and activities of the Agri-food sector training program . Prepare regular narrative and financial reports to funding partners and Board of Directors Qualifications . Post-secondary degree of certificate in Education, CACE and/or equivalent education and experience . A minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of adult education, training systems learning systems/theories . Must be knowledgeable in the Agri-food industry (food and beverage manufacturing and primary agriculture sub-sectors) . Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing, proposal development, and presentation and facilitation abilities . Extensive people management skills . Ability to work with various stakeholders (industry, board, educators, government, consultants) . Experience in relationship building and working with diverse populations . Excellent interpersonal, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) . Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle required
